§ 90.08 REPORT OF RABIES.
   It shall be the duty of every veterinarian or other person who discovers any dog or other animal to be suffering with rabies to report such fact immediately to the Animal Control Officer. Such report shall give the name, if known, and the place of residence of the owner of such dog, cat, or other animal, the place where such animal can be found, and the license number of such animal, if known. Such animal shall be immediately taken up and impounded, in the manner provided in this subchapter, and securely kept until the Animal Control Officer causes an exami-nation to be made. If it is determined that said animal is suffering with rabies, said animal shall be destroyed with authorization from the County Animal Control Agency in which any bite by said animal occurred.
