§ 70.44 DEPOSIT OF COINS.
   (A)   When any vehicle parked in any space adjacent to a parking meter which is located in accordance with the provisions of this section, the operator of the vehicle shall immediately deposit or cause to be deposited a $.01, $.05, $.10, or $.25 coin of the United States in the parking meter and put the meter in operation; failure to deposit the required coin and put the meter in operation shall constitute a violation of this section and shall subject the operator to the penalty prescribed by this section.
   (B)   Notwithstanding any provision in this section to the contrary, $.01 coins may not be deposited in those meters which indicate on their face that $.01 coins are not acceptable or are not to be used.
