§ 50.01 PLUMBING AND WATER REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY REFERENCE.
   Adoption of 2004 Illinois Plumbing Code. Certain documents, three copies of which are on file and have been on file for a period of 30 days prior to the adoption of this section in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the 2004 Illinois Plumbing Code as published by the State of Illinois, are adopted as the Plumbing Code of the city, in order to establish for buildings, minimum standards for plumbing; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions, and terms of the 2004 Illinois Plumbing Code are referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this subchapter with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes, if any, prescribed within this section as follows:
Section 890.420 Cleanouts (A)(4) amended to read as follows: A full size cleanout shall be located within five feet of the building foundation, inside and outside, in direct line with the building drain and sewer.
Section 890.1580(e) Amended to read as follows: 2" minimum for vent piping under concrete floors.
Section 890, Appendix-A (Table A) amended to delete item #11 “Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe with cellular core.
