§ 30.026 FURTHER DUTIES OF CLERK.
   The City Clerk shall attend all meetings of the City Council, keep the minutes of all its proceedings, and record the same in books to be provided by the City Council and to be kept in his or her office. He or she shall do and perform such other duties as may from time to time be enjoined upon him or her by ordinance or resolution of the City Council. The City Clerk may appoint a deputy or deputies, who, in the absence of the Clerk, in case of sickness or otherwise, shall be empowered to perform all the duties of the City Clerk. Said appointed deputy or deputies shall not be entitled to compensations prescribed in § 30.029.
