§ 1024.09 REMOVAL OF DANGEROUS OR DISEASED TREES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY.
   Trees on private property that are dead, diseased or otherwise in a bad condition and constitute a hazard to life and property, or that harbor insects or diseases which constitute a potential threat to other trees in the village, shall be removed by the owner of the property upon written notice by the Tree Commission. Failure to comply with such notice shall cause such trees to be removed by the village and the costs shall be assessed against the property owner and collected as other taxes.
