§ 1024.99 PENALTY.
   Violations of this chapter shall constitute a fourth degree misdemeanor, punishable by a fine up to $500 or a sentence of up to 30 days incarceration. Nothing herein shall prevent the village from taking such other lawful actions as may be necessary to prevent or remedy any violations. Individuals found guilty of destroying trees in violation of this chapter shall also be required to pay for the damage or replacement of the trees. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
