(a) A Law Enforcement Trust Fund is hereby established, to be coded 2091-110-420 or to receive such other code as may from time to time be designated by the Village Administrator and Finance Director and is to be classified as a special revenue fund.
(b) The Chief of Police is hereby directed, wherever possible, to pursue all necessary proceedings for the sale of contraband and for the disbursement of proceeds as required by law, including payment into the Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
