§ 244.19 PROBATION.
   New police officers seeking permanent appointment as patrol officers shall serve a probationary period of one year, subject to permanent appointment or discharge, according to Ohio R.C. Chapter 737. Each officer shall have the rank of patrol officer from the commencement of his or her initial appointment.
