In addition to their regular salaries, full-time Fire Department employees who are entitled to longevity pay as follows:
All full-time employees who have completed or who hereafter complete three years of service shall be entitled to receive $100 per year longevity allowance up to and including 25 years of service, for a maximum of $2,500 per year. A longevity allowance shall be considered earned on the annual date of the employee's employment and shall be payable with the next regular payroll following the anniversary date. The years of service must be consecutive.
