In case of death in an employee's immediate family, the employee shall be entitled to three days (72 hours) off with pay, which is not to be deducted from the employee's sick leave. IMMEDIATE FAMILY shall be defined as a spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent or grandchild. One day off (24 hours) with pay shall be granted for the death of a sister-in-law, brother-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew.
