§ 232.01 ASSISTANT SOLICITOR.
   (a)   The Village Solicitor is hereby authorized to appoint or designate the County Prosecuting Attorney and/or his or her designee as Assistant Solicitor for the municipality for the prosecution of state misdemeanor and felony offenses only, which offenses occurred or were committed in the municipality, at the Municipal Court level.
   (b)   Such appointment shall be made on the condition that it will involve no expense to the municipality for the Assistant Solicitor to serve in such capacity and to render such services.
   (c)   Such appointment may be terminated by either the County Prosecuting Attorney or the Village Solicitor of the municipality on reasonable notice to the Assistant Solicitor.
