§ 1040.08 CONNECTION TO WATER SUPPLY OTHER THAN REGULAR CITY WATER SUPPLY PROHIBITED AND REGULATING THE INSTALLATION OF NEW WATER WELLS.
   (a)   No person, firm or corporation shall establish or permit to be established or maintained or permit to be maintained any connection whereby a private, auxiliary or emergency water supply other than the regular public water supply of the Village of Lockland may enter the supply or the distribution system of the village, unless such private, auxiliary or emergency water supply and the method of connection and use of such supply shall have been approved by the Director of Lockland Water System and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
   (b)   No new water wells may be drilled within the village either for potable or non-potable water use without the express permit of the Ohio EPA and the village through its Director of the Lockland Water System.
