(a) The municipality shall provide “line of duty” insurance coverage for each officer and member of the Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services in the principal sum of $5,000 for loss of life. Such insurance may also include “loss of limb” coverage.
(b) The municipality shall pay the premium for accident and health medical reimbursement insurance to the Ohio State Group Accident and Health Fire Insurance Association.
(c) The municipality shall pay the premium for the professional fire fighter’s liability insurance, known as the “Errors or Omissions Policy,” for all officers and members of the Department.
