Every commercial structure and commercial unit which contains and/or is required to contain kitchen equipment and facilities, bathrooms, flush water closets, lavatories, showers, water heating or public hall lighting by the Zoning, Building or Fire Prevention Code or any health ordinance shall provide the space, facilities and equipment required by that Code or ordinance. The required structural, mechanical and electrical components and the space, facilities and equipment shall be maintained to the standards set forth in that Code or the standards set in §§ 1480.28 through 1480.39, whichever are higher.
