§ 1424.05 ORDERS TO VACATE.
Where a notice of determination and order to comply have been served pursuant to § 1424.03 and, upon reinspection at the end of the time specified for compliance, if no petition for a hearing has been filed, it is found that the conditions identified have not been remedied, the Code Enforcement Officer may order the building, structure or other premises, or parts thereof affected by the continued insecure, unsafe or structurally defective condition, vacated immediately. Vacated buildings, structures or other premises shall have all outer doors firmly located and basement, cellar and first-story windows barred or boarded to prevent entry. Such vacated buildings, structures or other premises shall not again be occupied until written approval is secured from the Code Enforcement Officer. If a building, structure or other premise, or part thereof, is not vacated in compliance with such vacation order, the Code Enforcement Officer shall seek a court order in a court of competent jurisdiction for the vacation of such building, structure or other premises.
