(A) Restrictions. It shall be unlawful for any person, either as principal, agent or employee, to store, manufacture, sell or use any dynamite, TNT or other explosive or explosive compound material within the city; provided, however, that said dynamite, TNT, explosive or explosive compound or material may be sold, stored or used within the city upon first obtaining a permit therefor from the Merced County Fire Prevention Office.
(B) Penalty. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable as provided in the 2013 California Building Code.
