For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BUILDING OFFICIAL. The building official for the City of Livingston or the building official’s designee.
CITY. The City of Livingston.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION or CHARGING STATION. Any level of electric vehicle supply equipment station that is designed and built in compliance with Cal. Code of Regulations, Building Standards Code Title 24, Part 3, Electrical Code Article 625, as it reads on the effective date of this chapter, and delivers electricity from a source outside an electrical vehicle into a plug-in electric vehicle.
ELECTRONIC SUBMITTAL. The utilization of one or more of the following:
1. Email;
2. The internet; or
3. Facsimile.
EXPEDITED PERMITTING PROCESS OR EXPEDITED REVIEW. The process outlined in § 4-9-3
of this chapter for permit review and inspection requirements.
SPECIFIC ADVERSE IMPACT. A significant, quantifiable, direct and unavoidable impact, based on objective, identified and written public health or safety standards, policies or conditions as they existed on the date the application was deemed complete.
