All revenues and money derived from the operation of the city water system shall be held by the City Clerk separate and apart from his or her private funds and separate and apart from other funds of the city, and all of the same, without deductions, shall be delivered to the City Treasurer not more than 10 days after the receipt of the same, or at such frequent intervals as from time to time may be directed by the City Council.
