(A) All employees, as well as elected and appointed officials, of the city, shall be entitled to the mileage reimbursement rate currently in effect, as established by the Internal Revenue Code of the United States.
(B) The employee, elected official, or appointed official must present an itemized statement of the amount of miles traveled for reimbursement purposes.
(C) Upon submission of the proper documentation, the employee, elected official, or appointed official shall be eligible for reimbursement and shall be reimbursed upon approval by the City Council of the expense.
