(A) The above-mentioned duties and services of the City Attorney shall not include the representation of the city or any officer of the city on behalf of the city in either the Appellate Court or Supreme Court of this state or in any of the federal appellate courts; nor shall those duties include any legal services performed relative to bond issues, construction work, or other services similar thereto.
(B) For all services referred to in this section that may be performed at any time by the City Attorney or any other attorney in behalf of the city, the attorney shall be entitled to additional fees, the amount of those fees to be as established by the City Council from time to time.
