§ 31.061 OATH OF OFFICE; BOND.
   The City Attorney shall, before entering upon the duties of his or her office, take the oath prescribed by law for city officials, and execute a bond to the city in the penal sum of $500 with sureties to be approved by the City Council, conditioned that he or she will faithfully perform the duties of the office.
