(A) Before entering upon the duties of office, the City Administrator shall furnish a surety bond in the amount of $10,000 to be approved by the City Council, this bond to be conditioned on the faithful performance of the duties of City Administrator. The premium for the bond shall be paid by the city.
(B) Before entering upon the duties of office, the City Administrator shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed by the statutes of this state in the case provided.
