§ 31.001 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS.
   As provided in ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 3.1-10-5, 3.1-10-6, and 3.1-10-50, if any city officer shall during his or her term of office move beyond the limits of the city, or if any Alderman shall move from the ward in and for which he or she was elected, then in that case the office shall become vacant.
