Each applicant for a license under this subchapter shall, upon the acceptance of his or her application for any license or permit issued hereunder, file with the Mayor of the city a surety bond in the penal sum of $1,000 to be approved by the Mayor, payable to the city for the use of any person interested, binding the obligers that the applicant will not violate any provisions of this chapter and conditioned upon the prompt and full payment of any fine or penalty that may become due or payable by reason of any violation or violations. The payment of any fine or penalty shall not reduce the liability under the bond for future violations.
