§ 96.142 STATE LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No person over the age of 21 years or other person required to be licensed by the laws of the state, now or hereafter, shall take, catch, or attempt to take or catch any species of fish, frogs, or turtles without a state fishing license in full force and effect, issued to that person and in his or her possession. All persons shall strictly adhere to ILCS Ch. 515, Act 5, §§ 1-1 et seq., the Fish and Aquatic Life Code of the state, and the amendments thereto.
