§ 91.40 SUPERINTENDENT’S AUTHORITY TO STOP CONSTRUCTION.
   If any person builds, renews, lays, or relays, or attempts to build, renew, lay, or relay, any public sidewalk ordered by the City Council to be constructed or renewed, without first obtaining a permit and grade therefor from the Superintendent of Streets, or contrary to any provision of this chapter or the particular ordinance relating to that sidewalk, the Superintendent of Streets may stop any further work on the sidewalk and cause the portion thereof as has been constructed to be reconstructed in accordance with the provisions of the ordinances.
