The Budget Officer may hold another office, either elective or appointed, and may receive compensation for both offices if so authorized by the corporate authorities of the municipality. The provisions of ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, Art. 10, shall not apply to the individual serving as Budget Officer. The Budget Officer shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
