7-9-3: POLES:
   (A)   Poles in residential subdivisions shall be Ameron Centrecon series “M” medium octagonal poles, catalog no. MEO-7.5-612 (providing a 24 foot 7 inch mounting height). Poles in commercial, business or industrial areas shall be Ameron Centrecon series “M” medium octagonal poles, catalog no. MEO-8.5-612 (providing a 27 foot 11 inch mounting height). Poles in commercial and business areas shall be supplied with a GFI outlet near the top of the pole.
   (B)   Unless otherwise approved by the village engineer, mast arms shall be manufactured of tapered aluminum with a smooth internal cable raceway and shall have a tenon to accommodatethe slip fitter of the luminaire. Mast arms shall be six feet (6') in length. Mast arms shall be attached to the concrete pole with aluminum castings and stainless steel or silicone bronze screws.
   (C)   An in line fuse holder assembly (Buss no. 1A0512, or approved equal) equipped with the proper fuse for the protection of the luminaire shall be provided at the handhole of each pole.
   (D)   Streetlight poles shall be plumbed while carrying the load of the mast arm and luminaire. All voids between the pole butt base and undisturbed earth shall be backfilled with low strength Portland cement concrete and the pole shall be braced in a plumb position until the concrete has set.
