7-12-6: RESIDING NEAR CHILD SEX VICTIMS:
It is unlawful for a child sex offender to knowingly reside within five hundred feet (500') of the victim of his or her sex offense. Nothing in this section prohibits a child sex offender from residing within five hundred feet (500') of the victim if the property in which the child sex offender resides is owned by the child sex offender and was purchased before the effective date of this chapter. However, this section does not apply if the victim of the sex offense is twenty one (21) years of age or older. (Ord. 2007-4095, 2-19-2007)
