The plumbing inspector shall be notified by the person making the connection to the public sewer line when the work is begun and when it is ready for inspection. All such work shall be left uncovered and convenient for examination until inspected and approved. The plumbing inspector shall examine the work within one day after receipt of notice that the work is ready for inspection. All defective materials and work must be replaced and corrected. Upon satisfactory completion of the work, the plumbing inspector shall issue a letter of certificate of approval. The plumbing inspector shall be notified twenty four (24) hours in advance by the person making the connection. (Ord. 95-2684, 9-5-1995)
