6-4-10: MINIMUM PAVEMENT WIDTHS AND SURFACE TYPE:
The following requirements are applicable to all subdivisions within the jurisdiction of the commission:
   (A)   Pavement widths for arterial and collector streets will be as designated in the thoroughfare plan. Where required to be provided as part of the subdivision, the subdivider will be responsible for no less than thirty four feet (34') face to face of curb.
   (B)   Local streets and dead end streets shall have minimum paved widths of twenty seven feet (27') face to face of curb. The pavement of a turning circle at the end of a dead end street shall have a minimum outside diameter of one hundred feet (100'). The right of way shall extend a minimum of ten feet (10') beyond the edge of pavement.
   (C)   Alleys shall have minimum widths of twenty feet (20').
   (D)   All streets and alleys shall be provided with curb and gutter and shall be designed in accordance with the standard detail sheets of streets, parking lots, drives and alleys of the village as from time to time amended 1 , and the state of Illinois department of transportation "Design Manual For The Structural Design Of Bituminous And Concrete Pavements", latest edition.
   All work shall be constructed in accordance with the state of Illinois department of transportation "Standard Specifications For Road And Bridge Construction", latest edition. In addition all other improvements required by this chapter shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the applicable standard details of the village as from time to time amended and applicable county, state or federal regulations.
   All improvements shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications that have been approved by the village engineer and village manager.
   (E)   Combined curb and gutter shall be required on all streets. Height of curb and type of combination concrete curb and gutter shall be of the type, height and width as required by the village. Concrete curb and gutter shall be reinforced longitudinally and of the design as currently required by the village. All work shall be constructed in accordance with current standard specifications for road and bridge construction, state of Illinois division of highways.
   (F)   Curb and combined curb and gutter shall be required on all streets. Height of curb and type of combination concrete curb and gutter shall be of the type, height and width as required by the village. Concrete curb and gutter shall be reinforced longitudinally and of the design as currently required by the village. All work shall be constructed in accordance with current standard specifications for road and bridge construction, state of Illinois division of highways. (Ord. 365, 11-3-1970; amd. 1979 Code)
