Except as otherwise specified herein or otherwise in this code, when application is made for an annual license after July 1 of any calendar year, applicant shall give satisfactory evidence that he has not engaged in the business, profession or occupation so licensed prior to July 1 of said year and, in that event, such fee shall be fifty percent (50%) of the annual fee provided therefor. Fees for licenses issued for peddling foodstuffs 1 shall not be prorated. (Ord. 2002-3425, 11-4-2002)
