(A) The commission shall consist of seven (7) members, each of which shall be appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the board of trustees. Members shall be appointed as follows: three (3) members shall be appointed for a term of one year; and four (4) members shall be appointed for a term of two (2) years. Thereafter, the term of a member of the commission shall be two (2) years, unless such appointment is to fill the unexpired term created by a vacancy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all appointees shall hold office until their successors are appointed.
(B) The members appointed as set forth herein shall elect from among themselves a chairman and a vice chairman to preside over the commission meetings and to direct the business of the commission. (Ord. 2001-3325, 7-2-2001)
