The planning and zoning commission shall consist of seven (7) members, one of whom shall be the chairman and the said seven (7) members of said planning and zoning commission shall be appointed by the president, subject to confirmation by the corporate authorities. Members of the planning and zoning commission shall reside within the village or within the territory contiguous with the village. The chairman of the planning and zoning commission shall be designated by the president, subject to confirmation by the corporate authorities. The president, with the approval of the corporate authorities, may remove any member or the chairman for misconduct in office or neglect of duty. (Ord. 2003-3451, 4-7-2003, eff. 5-1-2003; amd.
