137.05 RESIDENCY.

(a) The statutory requirement that the Chief of Police shall be a resident of the Village, is hereby waived pursuant to Ohio R.C. 737.15.

(b) Any person appointed to the position of Chief of Police shall, within six months after such appointment by the Mayor and confirmation by Council, become a resident no further than three miles from the Village.
