Any person, including members of the news media, desiring to be given advance notice of special meetings of public bodies of the Village shall provide the Village Clerk with his or her name and an address and phone number at which notice may be made. Upon receiving said information, such persons shall receive, at the option of the Clerk, not less than twenty-four hours advance telephone notice or seventy-two hours advance mail notice of all special meetings of public bodies of the Village, which notice shall include a statement of the purpose of the special meeting and the specific type of public business to be discussed.
