(a) Any and all sworn members/employees of the Village of Linndale Police Department may be eligible for special availability pay, at a rate of $13.00 per hour, if assigned and appointed to an event or special duty/task.
(b) Any and all assignments/duties, aside from a regularly scheduled shift, are to be given approval by the Chief of Police and Safety Director. Both the Chief of Police and Safety Director must preapprove the additional assignment/duties in order to be scheduled for the event/shift.
