(a) There is hereby created the Linndale Village Planning Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “Planning Commission”), comprised of the following members:
(1) The Mayor of the Village of Linndale;
(2) One member of the Linndale Village Council to be elected by the Village Council and to serve thereafter for the remainder of his or her term of office; and
(3) Three citizens of the Village of Linndale to be appointed by the Mayor for six year terms each, except that the term of one of the members of the first Planning Commission shall be for four years and one for two years. All such members shall serve without compensation.
(b) Any member of the Planning Commission, except as otherwise provided by State or local law, may hold any other public office and may serve as a member of a county, and a regional planning commission.
