147.03 HOLIDAYS.
   (a)    When a full-time employee, excluding the Chief of Police, works on a day observed as a holiday (holidays listed below), the employee shall be entitled to pay for such time worked at thirteen dollars ($13.00) per hour, in addition to the employee’s regular salary:
 
New Year’s Day
Labor Day
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Columbus Day
President’s Day
Veterans Day
Memorial Day
Thanksgiving Day
Juneteenth Day
Christmas Day
Independence Day
   (b)   Only pertaining to the Chief of Police: If any of the foregoing eleven holidays shall occur in any given year on a Saturday, then the Friday immediately preceding that weekend shall be deemed to be that holiday for purposes of this section.
   (c)   Only pertaining to the Chief of Police: If any of the foregoing eleven holidays shall occur in any given year on a Sunday, then the Monday immediately following that weekend shall be deemed to be that holiday for purposes of this section. (Ord. 2021-24. Passed 10-5-21.)
