(A) J.M. Lindsay Park shall be closed:
(1) From every Sunday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Monday at 6:00 a.m.;
(2) From every Monday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Tuesday at 6:00 a.m.;
(3) From every Tuesday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Wednesday at 6:00 a.m.;
(4) From every Wednesday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Thursday at 6:00 a.m.;
(5) From every Thursday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Friday at 6:00 a.m.;
(6) From every Friday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Saturday at 6:00 a.m.; and
(7) From every Saturday at 12:00 a.m. until the following Sunday at 6:00 a.m.
(B) The Mayor of the city, shall, upon written request from any person, have the power and authority to alter the above established closing hours for the J.M. Lindsay Park for special events or holidays; the granting or denying any such requests shall be within the sole discretion of the Mayor; in the event such request is granted, it shall be in writing, dated and signed by the Mayor.
