§ 51.52 EXPENSES; LIABILITY; MAINTENANCE.
   (A)   All costs and expenses incident to the installation and connection of the building sewer shall be borne by the owner. The owner shall indemnify the village from any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by the installation of the building sewer.
   (B)   The owner shall maintain sewer service from the curb or property line to the house and including all controls between the same, without expense to the village. All sewer services must be maintained free of defective conditions, by and at the expense of the owner or occupant of the property. This shall include removal of obstructions in the building sewer by use of sewer tapes, chemicals, and the like. The owner and the village shall share evenly the costs to maintain sewer service from the curb or property line to the street main. The village shall maintain the sewer service in the street main. All connections into the street main shall be under the direct supervision of the village and shall be made in the manner required by good engineering and plumbing practices.
