§ 51.18 STATE AND NATIONAL STANDARDS APPLY; DISCHARGES AND TESTING.

(A) No provision of §§ 51.16 through 51.21 of this code shall be construed to provide lesser discharge standards than are presently or may hereafter be imposed or required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the State Department of Natural Resources.

(B) All measurements, tests, and analyses of the characteristics of waters and wastes to which reference is made in this chapter shall be determined in accordance with the latest edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, published by the American Public Health Association, and 40 CFR 136. Sampling methods, location, times, durations, and frequencies are to be determined on an individual basis subject to approval by the village.
