(A) Law enforcement officers. Any law enforcement officer may issue citations for enforcement of any ordinances authorized under this subchapter.

(B) Village officials. The Building Inspector, the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, the Street Superintendent, the Water Superintendent, the Dog Catcher, the Fire Chief, the Fire Inspector, and the Weed Commissioner may issue citations with respect to those sections of this code which are directly related to their responsibilities. Such village officials may delegate their authority to issue citations to their subordinates.
