If no direction is made as to manner of use of the income, the Cemetery Board shall direct the same to be confined to the lot or lots intended to be cared for by that donor. Such moneys shall be paid into the treasury of the village, and the Village Clerk-Treasurer shall give a receipt therefor, and the amount so received shall be recorded in an appropriate book to be kept for that purpose, and shall state the name of the donor, the specific purpose to which the amount thereof is appropriated, and the amount thereof. In the event the same is to be used for some specific lot or lots, the same shall be described by number, as appears in the plat of the cemetery. Moneys so received shall be invested by the Clerk-Treasurer of the village, at the direction of the Cemetery Board, as provided by statute, and the village shall expend, annually, from the income therefrom, as shall be directed by the Cemetery Board.
