§ 72.08 PARKING OF CERTAIN VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Subject to the exceptions set forth in Wis. Stats. § 346.50, no person owning or having control of any farm or construction equipment, trailer, truck power unit, tractor, or bus or recreation vehicle, or, in addition, any type of or truck weighing in excess of 12,000 pounds gross weight, or over 22 feet in length (including accessories, racks, or other physical extension), or having a height of more than eight feet from the roadway, shall park the same upon the south side of Wisconsin Avenue. The prohibition of this section applies irrespective of whether or not the equipment and/or vehicles prohibited by this section are attached to a motor vehicle that may be legally parked or not. The provisions of this section shall not be deemed to prohibit the lawful temporary parking of such vehicles or equipment for the actual loading or unloading of goods, wares or merchandise, providing, however, the “loading” and “unloading,” as used in this section, shall be limited to the actual time consumed in such operation.
   (B)   Any person violating this section shall forfeit not less than $10 nor more than $100.
   (C)   The Chief of Police is directed to procure and install signs to provide notice of the terms of this section.
