(A) No person shall use motor vehicle brakes within the village limits which are in any way activated or operated by the compression of the engine (“jake braking”) of any such motor vehicle or any unit or part thereof.
(B) Any person violating this section shall forfeit not less than $10 nor more than $200.
(C) The Chief of Police is directed to procure and install signs at the main entrances to the village to provide notice of the terms of this section.
