§ 116.259 REVOCATION AND SUSPENSION OF LICENSE.
   (A)   In addition to the causes set forth in Chapter 110 for the revocation of licenses, the Board of Trustees may, for the violation of any provisions of this subchapter or for the violation while in the village of any law of the State of Illinois regulating the speed of any vehicle, or for any other cause, revoke and cancel any license granted under this subchapter without refunding the price paid for the unexpired period of time of the license.
   (B)   If any taxicab becomes unsafe for the transportation of passengers or becomes unclean or not of good appearance, the license of the taxicab may be suspended until the vehicle and all its appurtenances are put in fit condition for public use to the satisfaction of the inspector.
