The floor of every laundry, except the rooms in which wearing apparel, household linens, bedding, towels or other fabrics are washed, shall be constructed of hardwood or any impervious material. The floor of the rooms in which wearing apparel, household linens, bedding, towels or other fabrics are washed shall be constructed of hardwood with tight joints, concrete, cement, tile or stone laid in cement, or other impervious material, and shall be water-tight and properly drained to the public sewer. The angles where the floor and wall join shall be water-tight.
