No itinerant nor transient vendor of any drug, nostrum, ointment, or appliance of any kind intended for the treatment of disease or injury shall sell or give away, or offer to sell or give away, any drug, nostrum, ointment or appliance shall by writing or printing, or any other method profess to cure or treat disease or deformity by any drug, nostrum, ointment or appliance unless the vendor is licensed by the State Board of Health as an itinerant vendor of drugs.
