§ 116.033 POSTING BILLS; AUTHORITY OF VILLAGE REQUIRED.
   (A)   No person shall post, stick, stamp, paint or otherwise fix, or cause the same to be done by any person, any notice, placard, bill, card, poster, advertisement or other paper or device to or upon any sidewalk, crosswalk, curb or any portion or part of any public way or public place, or to any lamp post, electric light, telegraph, telephone pole, railway structure, hydrant shade tree or tree-box, or to any part of any public bridge or viaduct or other public structure of building, or upon any pole, box or fixture of the fire alarm or police telegraph system, except as may be authorized or required by law or ordinance.
   (B)   No person shall, without the consent of the owner or occupant of the premises or of the President and Board of Trustees, on any public property, post, stick or place any handbill, placard or notice upon any building, wall, fence, telegraph, telephone, or electric light pole or tree box, or shall mark, scratch, cut or otherwise deface any part of any building, fence or tree box.
